About Object:Splendor

Partners Claudia Seyffert and Natalie Manning have over 25 years of combined experience in various areas of design, having worked together at Southern New England Weddings and Southern New England Home
magazines, Natalie as the Art Director and Editor and Claudia as a Stylist and Writer. For years, Claudia, a former florist and event designer toyed with the idea of creating unique wedding décor packages that brides could purchase online. What was often casual conversation soon turned to serious brainstorming and planning and the two quickly discovered that together they had the ideal partnership of skills that could move the concept from dream to reality. In the early part of 2009 Object:Splendor was born.

“We traveled extensively to find the perfect combination of items for each design—things we would have loved to have had at our own weddings and things we’d like to have even today, for our own homes,” explains Seyffert, “We hope every bride that visits us feels the very same way!” After a year of designing, refining and sourcing the first collection of unique wedding décor packages, Claudia and Natalie are proud to announce the opening of Object:Splendor.

CLAUDIA SEYFFERT . . . Prior to joining Southern New England Weddings and Southern New England Home as an Editorial Coordinator and Stylist, Claudia’s love of the wedding industry began as the owner of her own floral and event design company. With a career that began in retail merchandising, Claudia spent several years as a freelance visual designer for a number of luxury brand companies and later went on to design holiday décor packages for shopping centers across the country. Claudia’s love of every aspect of visual design is evident in the tablescapes that she designs for Object:Splendor. “I have always enjoyed working with brides,” says Seyffert. “It’s such a happy time—probably the one time when it’s completely acceptable to think beyond what’s practical and design the dream that is in every bride’s head, something she’ll remember forever.”

NATALIE MANNING . . . In addition to her role as Art Director for the past 13 years at Southern New England Weddings and Southern New England Home, Natalie was also responsible for much of the photography that appeared in the magazines and is the keen eye behind the beautiful imagery of Object:Splendor. Also an expert in the field of graphic design, Natalie ran her own custom invitation business, Aesthete, which offered brides creative alternatives for wedding stationery. She continues as the creative force behind the beautiful graphic pieces incorporated into many of our Object:Splendor designs. Her passion for weddings began when she was very young. “As a little girl I was fascinated watching my mom create beautiful custom wedding gowns and bridesmaid dresses, I often dreamed about owning some type of bridal company,” says Manning. “Weddings truly are a passion of mine and I’m happy to be continuing my career in such an exciting, creative and visually stimulating industry.”
